What runs where

Which platforms are qualified, and which are not?

moxzi.game is a developer preview. This page is the support matrix, and it is deliberately narrower than what the repository can demonstrate.

PlatformStatus
Apple Silicon macOSQualified. Shared Bevy player; Wasmtime/Cranelift, Pulley, or static native
Physical arm64 iPhoneQualified. Shared exporter; Pulley by default, static native with --native-aot
Apple Silicon iOS SimulatorQualified. --simulator, Pulley, ad-hoc signing
Headless toolsQualified on macOS. Build, check, validate, simulate, checkpoint, profile
Desktop Chrome 153 / WebGPUExperimental. Rendered Pong and Colony; 625 runtime assertions against native
Desktop Firefox 156 / WebGPUExperimental. Runtime parity and a seven-check rendered Pong gate
Windows x64Development port. Cross-linked player, unsigned folder exporter, no qualified execution evidence
iPad, Intel Mac, Intel SimulatorNo qualified path
Safari, mobile browsersNo qualified path; Safari automation is unavailable
Linux, AndroidNo qualified game-player path
IC canistersNot a game-player export target

Browser capacity, measured#

Chrome sustains 128, 512 and 2,048 couriers for ten minutes each, at roughly 20 simulation ticks and 60 presentation updates per second. At 2,048 couriers, guest allocation ends at 210 MiB and summed process RSS peaks near 3.01 GiB — an observed desktop cost on the test machine, not a guarantee and not a mobile number.

What is not ready#

One-command distribution to every platform. The tools themselves are now packaged and installable — curl -fsSL https://moxzi.ai/install-game.sh | sh gets moxzi-game and the player for Apple Silicon macOS, checksum-verified. What is still missing is an export that takes a built package to a signed artifact on each target in one step; iOS export is a Python script you run yourself, and Linux, Windows and Android have no qualified path at all. That is the next milestone, and it is the reason every page here says preview.
